Six controlled stages turn a coil of cold-rolled steel into a load-tested mobile shelving bay — each one measurable, repeatable and inspectable.
Laser Cutting & CNC Bending
Cold-rolled steel sheet is laser cut and CNC bent to ±0.5 mm, then squared on welding jigs — the foundation of a bay that tracks straight for 20 years.
Robot Welding
Uprights, base plates and cross rails are jig-held and robot welded for repeatable penetration — no hand-weld variance, no hidden porosity.
Multi-Tank Phosphating
Degrease, acid wash, rinse and phosphate conversion layers prepare the steel surface so the powder coat bonds chemically rather than sitting on top.
Electrostatic Powder Coating
A 60–80 µm cured film with adhesion of grade 2 or better, in 200+ RAL shades. Two-tone masking and accent panels are done on the same line.
Precision Drive Assembly
Chains, sprockets, shafts and bearings are tensioned and run-in on the line; hand-wheel force is verified at or below 11.8 N per bay.
Load Test & Final QC
Sample bays are loaded to rated shelf capacity — 80 kg per shelf, up to 800 kg per bay — and checked against GB/T 13667 before crating for export.

Founded In Dongying
Shengmei begins as a sheet-metal workshop building hand-wheel compactor shelving for provincial and municipal archives across Shandong.
First Export Container
The first shipment of manual compactor shelving leaves for a Southeast Asian government archive — export documentation and packing standards are formalised the same year.
37,000 m² Industrial Park
Cutting, welding, phosphating and powder coating are consolidated under one roof, and the plant is certified to ISO 9001 quality management.
Smart R&D Centre
An in-house electronics and software team is formed to develop motorised drive, touchscreen control and aisle safety sensing.
Smart Series In Production
Touchscreen and voice-guided compactors with RFID-ready bays enter series production alongside the existing manual lines.
